Festoon Suspension Wire Kit

Need help hanging your Festoon lights, this kit will help.  When Festoon lights are strung up over a large area you are forced to pull the cable very tight to ensure it stays high up in the air, otherwise it will sag in the middle and be too low.  Pulling the string very tight creates a lot of tension in the string and puts a lot of pressure on the joints which can lead to a failure of the wiring and the lights top working halfway along the string.

If the lights need to be strung across an area greater than 4 to 5 metres we recommend the use of our Festoon suspension kit.  The kit provides all the necessary parts to string a stainless steel wire across your space and tension it. The Festoon lights can then be attached to this support wire to create the perfect mounting scenario.  The festoons don't have all the tension on the wire and the lights are also up higher to clear everybody walking around underneath them.

This handy kit comes with 15metres of cable and mounting brackets and tensioners, with these parts you can do two passes across an area, or more depending how you set it up.  Check our installation diagrams to show how the wire is to be mounted.
